Ocean Lakes Family Campground
The Ocean Lakes Family Campground was built in 1970 and has been welcoming people to Myrtle Beach since then. It’s on the south end of Myrtle Beach and is highly rated because of its customer service and amenities. The RV park is open year-round and family-friendly with 859 campsites and 2,569 annual lease sites that are situated on 310 oceanfront acres of land. There’s nearly a mile of the beachfront area here, as well as five bathhouses for guests to use. This is a very large campground – one of the largest in the entire U.S., in fact. Some of the many amenities include outdoor sports courts, mini-golf, a game center, café, pools, lazy river, and kids’ splash zone.
Myrtle Beach KOA Resort
There’s a KOA resort in Myrtle Beach where you can walk to the beach and be surrounded by trees at the same time. The Myrtle Beach KOA Resort accommodates RVs, tents, and offers cabin accommodations too. It has been around for more than 40 years and offers many amenities and onsite activities to join in some fun. For RVs, there are 50-amp hookups, 80-foot max length sites, a pool open year-round, fishing, a pavilion, and firewood, bikes, and propane for sale. Throughout the year, you can join ice cream socials, game nights, karaoke nights, pool events, and other activities.
Pirateland Campground
Pirateland Family Camping Resort is just outside the Myrtle Beach city limit and along the oceanfront. It has full hookup RV sites, shaded sites for tents, vacation rentals, and yearly leased sites. You’ll have easy access to half a mile of beachfront along the ocean when you stay here. This is a popular snowbird destination with discounted rates for monthly and extended stays. Pirateland has a camp store, nine bathhouses throughout the campground, a weekly church service, and an outdoor chapel for small weddings. Wi-Fi and laundry facilities are also available for campers.
Springmaid Beach Family Campground
With 185 campsites among 30 acres along the ocean, the Springmaid Beach Family Campground is a good option in Myrtle Beach. This RV park is at the south end of Myrtle Beach’s Ocean Boulevard and by the DoubleTree Resort. Most campsites can accommodate 40-foot campers at this pet-friendly (leash required) resort. Lakewood Camping Resort
When you book a site at the Lakewood Camping Resort, you’ll be along a square-half-mile of beachfront property and enjoy the onsite water park with indoor and outdoor pools. Staying at this Myrtle Beach RV park is an experience in and of itself. Myrtle Beach State Park Campground
Many people love camping at the campground at Myrtle Beach State Park, which is in an oceanfront maritime forest and a great escape from the busy beach areas. Barefoot RV Resort
At the Barefoot RV Resort, you’ll find spacious campsites with full hookups, free Wi-Fi and cable TV, and beach access with parking a half-mile away. The RV park has a heated pool, yard games, playground, bathhouse, laundry facility, and arcade for campers to enjoy. You’ll be just a mile from the shops and dining of Barefoot Landing and be able to walk, bike, or drive a golf cart to other entertainment options.
