With more of a playground vibe, Splash in the Boro in Statesboro has plenty of things to do, from climbing, and sliding, to of course lounging on a float in the river. The clean-cut waterway wraps around two large pool areas, and the water slides also dump directly in.

Valdosta’s Wild Adventures theme park is a literally wild combo of zoological wonder and thrilling rides. Splash Island water park is included in your admission, and you have to take a ride down Paradise River.
Bethesda Park Aquatic Center
This Indoor fun center in Lawrenceville features indoor playgrounds, a beach entry pool, and, you guessed it, a lazy river. Being indoors eliminates sunburn concerns, and it’s a great choice for a rainy day.
Margaritaville at Lanier Islands
Lanier Island’s waterpark is now a part of the Margaritaville franchise, and there’s plenty of tropical music and Island vibes. In addition to ziplines and waterslides is Raging River, a more fast-paced river ride that sits somewhere in between a traditional lazy river and whitewater rapids. Needless to say, it is awesome, and just the right amount of excitement and relaxation.
Browns Mill Family Aquatic Center
Located in Lithonia, we love the simple set up of this aquatic center. Just far enough from Atlanta to avoid heavy traffic getting there, Browns Mill is conveniently located and easily accessible.
Great Wolf Lodge Waterpark
Now for the King of all Georgia lazy rivers—The Great Wolf Lodge. An incredible 93,000 square foot waterpark spans through the LaGrange resort and is kept at a comfy 84 degrees year-round. Crooked Creek twists through the modern lodge interior, while other crazy awesome water features await you. The entire resort is magical.
