Lake Powell is part of the string of natural wonders in Arizona and the Grand Canyon area. Extending into both Arizona and Utah, there are recreational sites in both states, that center around this mesmerizing reservoir lake. The signature landscape of red rock and dirt pairs in the most heavenly way with the pristine waters of Lake Powell. We are veering away from obvious chain choices for this list, and are going to introduce dazzling vacation rentals and resort lodges that are the perfect base for a vacation in this iconic part of the United States.
Lake Powell Resort - Page
Lake Powell Resort checks off all the convenience boxes. Rooms have a hotel suite feel, with just a touch more refinement, with some featuring a view of the lake itself. A modern pool, restaurant, and marina access make for an optimal stay for families who want the best of both Arizona nature and the ease of staying at a well-rounded location. Since situated right on a marina, booking a boat or water toy for the day is absolutely a highlight.
Defiance House Lodge - Bullfrog
Defiance House Lodge is technically a separate accommodation, in Bullfrog, Utah rather than Arizona, but the same group owns this retreat as the above. While more humble, the lodge has phenomenal views and updated, contemporary rooms. But the dreamy porch is the place to be. Boat tours run out of this marina as well, and the onsite restaurant is a plus.
Wahweap Campground - Page
Last but not least for Lake Powell Resorts and Marinas is their Wahweap Campground, where you can camp in classic fashion, or rent one of their sleek, newly built Airstreams. The design is still in line with the standards of the original 1930s versions, yet materials are a bit more polished and modernized. Bullfrog also features a campground along its marina, and one more additional site, Halls Crossing, offers spaces as well.
The Lake Powell Adventure House - Page
The exterior blends seamlessly with surrounding canyon views, as clean lines, neutral colors and wood accents form the core structure of this incredible home. Three bedrooms and two baths have a practical, welcoming appeal, but we doubt much time will be spent indoors when at the cusp of so much adventure. However, it’s easy to become hypnotized by the views of the lake from upstairs.
Brand New Home Towering Above the Colorado River - Page
Basically, this is a grand castle hovering over lake Powell, and the desert terrain of this portion of the Grand Circle. Lavish, luxurious, luxe, enormous—what more can we say? If you want to feel like royalty during your lake vacation, stay here. Pamper yourself at the pool and spa space, which meshes visually with the horizon.
Kokopelli House - Page
Traditional Arizona design meets mansion. The house stuns while still matching well with its surroundings, and the outdoor areas are made for endless nights under the stars. Take advantage of the fire pit and seating nook along with a resort-quality pool and matching hot tub.
Enjoy the Best Views of Lake Powell - Page
Gorgeous lake views can be found at this bungalow, which is also a good bit cheaper than its mansion competitors. Enjoy mornings and afternoons from the enclosed porch, or let the stresses melt away in the hot tub.
Luxe Home with Pool & Lake Powell Views - Page
All the necessities from home await in this upscale abode, with glimpses of Lake Powell that will leave you speechless. The outdoor pool is the perfect place to take it all in, after spending the day diving into the hiking scene and other famed sites.
Lake Powell Houseboats
Imagine sunbathing on a private deck, cooking meals in a warmly designed kitchen, and waking up to the water literally right outside your window. Lake Powell Resorts and Marinas offers yet another stellar option, that has the best views yet. Houseboats are like RVs of the water and offer a personalized, more separated experience. Choose from economy, deluxe and luxury houseboats (all are super nice), and they’ll train you to drive it, even if a first-timer.
Large Lake View Vacation Home: Overlooks Lake Powell - Page
This 3000 square-foot space can accommodate up to 17 people, amongst its cleanly beautiful rooms. Three different patios provide everyone a place to escape and soak in the outdoor beauty. One of these patios leads directly out from the master bedroom. So maybe toss a coin to figure out who gets that one! There is also a lower deck in the back of the home, which is a wonderfully equipped place to spend evenings. Kids will particularly love the ping-pong table that is in the garage.
Boho-Chic Home with Large Backyard - Page
Every wall seems to have a different type of wallpaper! That would make sense, because the hosts invested a lot of time adding the most intricate details, like birch tree wallpaper in the bathroom, and patterned tile as the kitchen backsplash. The result is a harmonious blend of vastly different materials, that just happened to work really well together. Guests will likely find this home extremely charming, especially when entering the spacious backyard with various paver pathways, multiple seating options, and lush green grass.
Luxury Home with Pool & Spa with Views - Page
Get ready to feel like you’re at a five-star resort versus a vacation rental – – because these days, vacation rentals can be the most luxurious places to stay! Crafted into a stunning V shape, the pool deck has the most refined watery recreation of any rental on this list. Situated above the pool, is a built-in hot tub, while the outdoor space also houses a range of seating and an awesome fire pit area. The interior of the home comes in at over 4000 square feet. Seven bedrooms can accommodate up to 14 guests. While the furnishings and overall aesthetics are more on the elegant side, kids will be excited to find a basketball game in the living room, and other little touches here and there.
Santa Fe Style Custom Home with Hot Tub, Desert View - Page
Someone could easily be tricked into thinking they are wandering down the streets of New Mexico when looking at this home on its own. The traditional structure is strikingly beautiful amongst the terrain surrounding nearby Lake Powell. Bright green cacti add a lovely accent along the curb. Be sure to spend plenty of time on the rooftop deck, because it goes without saying the views from here are spectacular. Guests will also have the perk of chilling in the hot tub at night and parking their car or jet ski in the garage.
Come Enjoy and Get Outside - Page
The landscape surrounding this home is truly Arizona in a nutshell! The home blends perfectly with this type of terrain, as to not take away from the natural beauty. Guests will be delighted to find comfortable outdoor seating, in addition to a well-equipped interior. There are even two refrigerators for those families who have kids that seriously snack all of the time. The kitchen feels somewhat retro, with pastel cabinets, and a striking oven set within a painted white brick structure.
Best Parking in Page with Pool - Page
The pool is likely the selling point of this desert home, as it serves as a true oasis, with its deep blue color, and beautifully curved shape. A pergola sits in the corner of the wonderful patio and has a comfortable sectional couch underneath. However, the interior of the home is quite beautiful, featuring numerous traditional and southwest attributes. Four bedrooms and three bathrooms provide an abundance of space for families, and some bedrooms have extras like a scenic balcony.
Luxurious Lake Powell Slot Canyon Home - Page
There’s an unexplainable charm that will be evident to guests once they see this little home for themselves. From a lovely mural on the wall to interesting and fun decorative elements, there’s something to “oo and aw“ over around every corner. The kitchen is phenomenally set up for cooking up just about anything, with multiple pans, pots, and utensils. But one of the top amenities is the location, which sits just minutes from some of the bucket list sites you probably came to see in the first place. Like Lake Powell maybe?
The Penthouse at Lake Powell - Page
We didn’t pick this place for its incredible price alone, it actually has quite a cool thing going on, with an industrial theme that almost feels like an upscale garage. Seriously, a toolbox is used for cabinetry, and we love it! Guests will meander down a narrow but super adorable path to reach the rental. The best part is, many of the town’s best restaurants and shops can be reached on foot in about eight minutes.
