Another KOA campground in this region is on the Canadian side of the falls and called the Niagara Falls KOA Holiday. This campground is just three miles from Niagara Falls and has RV sites that are back-in and have full hookups, patio RV sites for big rigs, grassy tent sites, and deluxe cabins. There are heated outdoor pools here, as well as a seasonal outdoor cinema, a dog park, and themed weekends. Guests will have Wi-Fi, access to mini golf, and a pavilion here too. Some offerings are only seasonal, so check the campground website before your trip.

Niagara Falls Campground & Lodging, Niagara Falls, NY
This campground is the closest U.S. campground to Niagara Falls and just six miles away from the American Falls. Niagara Falls Campground & Lodging offers sites for both tents and RVs and has fire pits, Wi-Fi, water, electric, and sewer hookups. There is a gift shop, laundromat, shower rooms, swimming pool, playground, and dog walking area here. Camping season runs from April to October.

Niagara Falls/Grand Island KOA, Grand Island, NY
Between April and November, you can camp at this KOA resort and be just seven miles away from Niagara Falls. This campground is also close to state parks, bike paths, fishing, casinos, and other recreation in the area. At the KOA itself, there are opportunities to rent canoes and paddleboats, play in the pools and playgrounds, and join planned activities and games in the summer. For RVs, there are 50-amp sites and an 80-foot max site length. Other perks are the dog park, cable TV, Wi-Fi, and propane and firewood for sale. Both tents and RVs are welcome at this family-friendly and pet-friendly campground.
Yogi Bear's Jellystone Park in Niagara Falls, Ontario, Canada
Families with kids love staying at this Yogi Bear-themed RV resort on the Canadian side of Niagara Falls. Also on the Canadian side of the falls, you can stay at Scott’s Campground, which is just eight kilometers away from the Golden Horseshoe Falls. The WeGo Shuttle Bus stops in front of the campground to help you get to the local attractions. Campers have 30-amp and 50-amp pull-through sites here. There are also tent sites with large trees and outdoor wash basins in the tent area. Other amenities are the laundry room, playground, heated pool and waterslide that are open in the summer, and firewood sold onsite. The seasonal sites here are available from May through October.

There are lots of activities to enjoy right at the campground, including mini golf, hayrides, karaoke, and laser tag. The Niagara’s Lazy Lakes Resort is family owned and operated in the heart of Niagara Country. It is 15 minutes from Niagara Falls and just 10 minutes from the Niagara River & Lake Ontario. About 22 miles northeast of Niagara Falls, you’ll find the Niagara County Camping Resort and get to enjoy some of the best scenic beauty of New York State. This is a family campground and RV park that has pull-through RV sites and tent sites on 64 rustic acres of land. There are also cabin and cottage rentals available. The facilities include a camp store, hot showers, free petting zoo, three playground areas, mini golf, basketball, Wi-Fi, and cable TV. It’s a pet-friendly camping area that’s also close to the historic Eric Canal.
Daisy Barn Campground, Wilson, NY
Within about a half hour from Niagara Falls, you can stay at the Daisy Barn Campground and enjoy being in a quiet farming community. There are 36 acres of land here just off of Route 18 and plenty of sites for RVs. There is fishing available at the campground’s pier and also a gazebo overlooking the water. Wi-Fi is available for a small fee. Meanwhile, campers can use the laundry room, showers, fire pit, game room, and playground. Tuscarora State Park is close by to visit as well during your stay. During the summer, there are fun events to attend at the campground, such as karaoke night and a 4th of July fireworks display.
